Aditya Modak - Lead Actor from the critically acclaimed movie, The Disciple, is also a gifted musician.

A Chartered Accountant by profession, Aditya gave up his job in an esteemed multinational financial institution to pursue music. He is now heavily engaged in imparting knowledge to music students in India and abroad.

Aditya has done a stellar job playing the role of Sherad Narulkar in the movie, 'The Disciple'. Directed by Chaitanya Tamhane and produced by Vivek Gomber, this movie is based on the life of a Hindustani Classical musician who devotes his life to becoming a vocalist, diligently following the traditions and discipline of the old masters. A testament to devotion, passion and self exploration, this movie has won several awards & accolades.
